Today, our journey brought us to the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) for a truly enriching experience at the “One-Week Advanced MDP Program on Commercial Floriculture: Sunrise Industry – Management & Linkage Strategies.” This immersive training session is aimed at exploring the full potential of commercial floriculture, an emerging sector with the promise of economic growth and sustainable agriculture for the region.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, the Vice Chancellor of SKUAST-Kashmir, whose leadership and vision continue to guide the university’s initiatives in progressive agriculture. We were also joined by Dr. M.K. Verma, Director of ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, alongside the dedicated faculty and staff of SKUAST-Kashmir.
