Day 6: Empowering Farmers and Strengthening Horticulture in Kishtwar and Ramban 🌱🚜

The 1,100km Mission Horticulture Journey continued with impactful engagements in Kishtwar and Batote (Ramban District). Here’s an overview of the activities:

Stop 1: Village Pakalan, Block Thakraie, Kishtwar

Event Highlights:
- Distributed a Power Tiller under the HADP Scheme to the beneficiary farmer, Giridhar Lal, enhancing mechanized farming capabilities in the region.
- The handover ceremony was graced by Raja Adil Usman (HDO Kishtwar) and Dev Raj (Horticulture Technician), showcasing the department’s commitment to improving agricultural efficiency.

Stop 2: Sharwaan, Thakraie, Kishtwar

Awareness Camp:
- Organized a HADP Horticulture Scheme Awareness Camp in the high-altitude mountain village of Sharwaan, Thakraie.
- The session, led by Raja Adil Usman (HDO Kishtwar) and Dev Raj (Horticulture Technician), emphasized the benefits of HADP schemes, including subsidies, advanced farming practices, and government support for horticultural innovations.

Stop 3: Batote, Ramban
